Quality Managment
Quality control of the raw materials:
As this unit is equipped with the required equipments for test and laboratory in the field of evaluating and surveying all the raw materials including receptacles, cartons, feeds, solvents, additives and comparing them with the National, Regional and International standards and the technical specifications requested by the technical and production department. Also, for standardization and quality improvement, some measures have been taken for production and packing of different lubricants.
Laboratory Department:
As the first laboratory holding the International Standard Certificate of IST/IEC 17025 from German DAP Institute and holding the certificates from the provincial laboratories, as well as relying on the professional experts, the laboratory of SEPAHAN Oil Company, has modern and advanced and full automatic equipments in the field of conducting the tests concerning on oils, engaged in developed activities in the following sections:
- Routine laboratory in the field of conducting the required tests and controlling the system of operational departments in refinery, Lube Cut, producing base oil, producing finished oils (engine oil, hydraulic, gear, industrial oils, etc.) these tests are done on the bases of National and International Standards of ISIR, ASTM,IP,UOP,ISO,..
- Special laboratory for analyzing, preparing and conducting special tests on lubricants and samples. These tests include: Atmospheric Distillation, Vacuum Distillation, Lab Blend. Br Index, Base Oil Molecular weight, Hydrocarbon Distribution, Demulsibility, Aniline Point, HTHS, Element Analytical by ICP in Lubricants and additives, Analytical ion and elements in aquse matrix by spectrophotometer, CGC,…
- Monitoring and controlling the product that include test on final products after production and packing for conformity of products, packing, storing and transportation of the product with necessary standards.
Also this department cooperates with Institute of Standard & Industrial Research of Iran(ISIRI) for compiling and preparing the standards for lubricants.
Research and Development Department:
This department has a scientific potential and it has close relations with research centers of the country for improving the process of base oil production, increasing the quality of finished products and other by-products obtained by refinery that decrease gas oil and air pollution. This department has conducted many research activities resulting in optimizing the production processes, preparing different articles, and sending them to the research, scientific centers and ISI.
